Projects

I have too many projects to count. A light survey unearthed tons of 3D models, git repos on scattered services, half built contraptions with parts scavenged for yet other inventions, and mountains of notebooks full of designs.

With many years of prototypes and technical adventures dispersed through the aether, stored in crates, and trapped in old hard drives, the projects featured here are going to represent a very small portion of my catalogue.

We are hoping that getting articles to 100% completion will serve as a forcing function for getting projects to 100% completion. In a way, the real project is myself.

Self-made Mashup

Pictured: a spiritual self-portrait exercise depicting the sculptor carving themselves out of raw materials. These two sculptures were 3D printed by fans in Brazil and Germany from Ryan's published designs.1

It turns out that Ryan's new No Caffeine policy and now unmitigated traumatic legacy of writing anxiety make the real rate of write-up completion closer to one article per month. Please savour any articles that do get published here. Look at the footnotes, look up unfamiliar words in the dictionary, really marinate in the work. Or don't, I guess I can't tell either way. Critiques welcome. I'll try to add more pictures.
